Every candle is hand poured, in small batches, in California. We work from a studio in Oakland.

We use an all-natural coconut wax blend with a smooth, creamy finish and great fragrance "throw".
Our Story
In 2014, our founder began practicing meditation to cope with the loss of a loved one. Discovering significant personal benefits from meditation, she was inspired to motivate others to incorporate quiet time into their daily routines.
This inspiration led to the creation of Lit Soul Candles in 2015, meditation candles designed with your spiritual health in mind. At Lit Soul Candles, we support the idea that mindfulness can make a positive difference in people's lives.
We see ourselves not just as a business but as part of a broader initiative. Each time you look at your candle, we hope it serves as a reminder to pause, breathe, and focus on your spiritual well-being.
Our candles are uniquely hand-poured in 'upcycled' soup cans, turning what would have been waste into something beautiful, functional and healing. This reduces while adding a unique, rustic charm to our candles.
Each purchase of our candles goes beyond just providing you with a serene ambiance; it directly contributes to a greater cause. We donate the food from these cans to local organizations serving people facing food insecurity.
